Switzerland's innovative strength - how to secure it in turbulent geopolitical times?

Switzerland's innovative strength depends not only on its own locational advantages, but also on strong cooperation with other countries. Especially in research, good relations with Europe, but also with innovative countries in North America or Asia, are crucial. Geopolitical fragmentation and the uncertain future of relations with the European Union are now major challenges for the Swiss innovation landscape.

Panel discussion with Sereina Capatt (Co-Managing Director of foraus), Myriam Cevallos (State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation; International Programmes Research and Innovation Division), Mathieu Resbeut (BAK Economics, Specialist in Innovation and Technology) and Dr. Michaela Kneissel (Novartis, Global Disease Area Head for Diseases of Aging and Regenerative Medicine). Moderation: Rolf Weder (Professor of International Economics, University of Basel)

Organized by the Center for International Economics and Business at the University of Basel, Reatch (think tank for science, society and politics) and the Swiss Network for Productivity, Innovation and Sustainability with the support of Novartis.
