What makes you be you? Discover how you come to life thanks to DNA: Between August 13 and September 22, the Novartis Pavillon is excited to host a special interactive DNA experience. Embark on a journey into the mystery of genomics and program your own genetic code!
DNA is the instruction manual for life – a secret code containing all the genetic information that makes each living thing unique. Understanding DNA has opened up a whole new world of possibilities, with significant contributions from Friedrich Miescher, a scientist from Basel.
Visit the exhibition “LIFE'S JOURNEY” for an interactive experience to learn and play with genomics. We make complex genomics tangible. The exhibition consists of a mechanical display that allows you to see 50 DNA bases in a tri-dimensional space, changing and moving according to the 4 bases: the letters A, C, G and T. Thanks to the controller you have the power to display real DNA sequences, fix a faulty sequence, and make your own code.
