Behind the Science: "Healthcare 2038 - are we ready?
On the growing importance of non-medical professions and digital services

Thursday, May 8, 2025 | 18:00 - 19:00 an apero will be served following the event

More and more older and sick people need medical care, but there are fewer and fewer doctors. Modern technologies and artificial intelligence can open up new possibilities and solutions, but require completely new approaches to regulation and the international division of labor.

High-tech medicine, digitalization and the promotion of non-physician professions have the potential to guarantee basic medical care in the future.

What would such a forward-looking strategy and planning of our healthcare system for the next decade look like?

The evening will be opened by Jan Depta, Market Access and Health Policy leader at Novartis Switzerland.

Health economist Professor Axel Olaf Kern will give us an insight into his work. He has 40 years of experience in healthcare policy and is currently focusing on the challenges of future-oriented healthcare.

The event will be held in German.
