Behind the Science – Storytelling on Climate Change (hosted by EY)

Climate change is omnipresent – but how exactly are the scenarios we use to think about our future created? And why is data alone often not enough to trigger real change?

In this event, EY invites participants to take a look Behind the Science. Building on the principles of Four Futures, the evening combines climate science with emotional storytelling. Participants will experience a journey into possible scenarios for the year 2055 and reflect on the paths chosen today – and the consequences these may have for society, the economy, and the environment.

At the heart of the event are the scientific foundations of climate change and biodiversity, the architecture of future scenarios, and the question of how narratives and emotional approaches can help make complex future data tangible. The evening will conclude with an exchange and discussion among participants.
