Novartis Pavillon

Interfinity Poster Pavillon

A public panel discussion on the future of space exploration will take place at the Novartis Pavilion. Among the guests are Michel Mayor, Professor of Astronomy, co-discoverer of the first exoplanet in 1995 and Nobel Prize laureate in Physics, Raphaël Domjan, adventurer and entrepreneur (SolarPlanet), who between 2010 and 2012 became the first person to circumnavigate the globe aboard a boat powered exclusively by solar energy, as well as Prof. Dr. Jan Wörner, the former director of the European Space Agency (ESA).

The discussion will explore the future of space exploration and exploration in a broader sense, the role of private actors, and the question of whether—and how—humanity might one day live on another planet.

The panel will be moderated by Nelly Riggenbach.

An apéritif will follow the discussion.
