Novartis Pavillon

On this evening, everything will revolve around research on the skin. Possible topics range from biotechnologically engineered skin and the protective mechanisms of mucous membranes to sun protection, autoimmune skin diseases and skin conditions, as well as hormonal influences on the skin and the role of skin microbes.

For the first time in Basel, NACHTAKTIV comes to the Novartis Pavillon.
Experience an unforgettable evening at the museum and discover science, innovation and creativity in an exciting new setting.

NACHTAKTIV is an evening event series that invites you to explore, try out and engage. Visitors can experience the Pavillon’s current exhibition free of charge and dive into cutting-edge research presented by scientists, students and start-up founders from various institutions – in an engaging and entertaining way. From fascinating research methods and innovative technologies to the astonishing complexity of our skin and brain, a whole world beyond the naked eye awaits discovery.

NACHTAKTIV combines future technologies, science, design and art in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Each event is accompanied by a DJ selected by @helvetiarockt (#femalemusiclab), providing the perfect soundtrack for an inspiring evening.

Come by, explore and let yourself be inspired by this unique experience – now for the first time ever at the Novartis Pavillon in Basel.

All events are free of charge and open to young people aged 15 to 30.
