An Evening with Helen Macdonald
Join award-winning author Helen Macdonald for an inspiring evening in Basel. Best known for her internationally acclaimed memoir H Is for Hawk, Macdonald will share insights into her work, writing, and the enduring connection between nature, grief, and resilience.
Winner of the Samuel Johnson Prize and the Costa Book of the Year, H Is for Hawk has been celebrated worldwide and is now being adapted for film.
Co-hosted by Book Club Basel, the Oxford and Cambridge Alumni Society of Basel, and the Harvard Club of Switzerland, with the support of the Swisslos Fund Basel-Stadt.
Doors open at 6:30 PM.
